Failure phenomenon
The GE Vivid E9 color Doppler ultrasound device restarts after booting through the Basic Input Output System (BIOS) self-check interface and cannot enter the system.
The abnormal startup of the ultrasound equipment is usually caused by the failure of the computer as the back end of the equipment, such as the damage or poor contact of the memory, hard disk, graphics card, motherboard and other components.
This failure occurred after the device was pushed to the ward for bedside inspection, and it was suspected to be caused by the loosening of the back-end board.
Remove the left side cover of the host, open the rear chassis, re-plug the memory, graphics card, and hard drive in sequence, and then re-plug the S-ATA cable connected to the hard drive and solve the problem.
The ultrasound back-end can be regarded as a powerful PC, and its hardware or software abnormalities often cause the ultrasound equipment to fail to start normally. In use, try to avoid severe vibration of the equipment, maintain good internal cleaning, and reduce the occurrence of hardware failures.
For software failures such as system crashes, it is necessary to fully grasp computer knowledge and learn to use Ghost, U disk boot and other tools to make system backups, so as to solve such failures in a timely and effective manner.
